Scale up livelihood and prevent gender-based violence for women and girls with disabilities
In partnership with the North West regional assembly, CAVP received a grant to support 13 women and girls with disabilities and GBV survivors with start-up capital for petty business and 3 sewing machines. by providing financial resources, these women gain financial independence, increase household incomes, and improve their overall well-being. This also gives them greater control over their lives, make decisions that positively impact themselves and their families, and contribute to the economic growth of the communities. Economic
empowerment not only promotes gender equality but also is a catalyst for social progress and economic prosperity
